Discover Midtown

Our Discover Midtown class will be on May 9th from 8:30 am - 12:30 pm at the ministry house (across the parking lot from Midtown Church). Here are some things that might be helpful if you are considering joining us for the class.

  • This class is a total of 4-hours so you can meet the pastors (Corey Smith and Rick Whitlock) and elders (Eric Müller, Wes Trapp, Curt Wible), and other Staff of Midtown, and learn about the mission, vision, and values of Midtown.

  • Many people who currently come to our church didn’t attend a Presbyterian church in the past, so we explain what we believe as well as what it means to become a member of our church, and all the ways you can get more connected to others at Midtown.

  • We enjoy discussing all sorts of questions people ask when they come to Discover Midtown. For example, in the past people have asked “why do you baptize infants?” or “why do you have elders and deacons?” or “why do you do church membership and what does that mean?” or “what do you believe about the Bible?” There is no pressure to become a member, and we welcome questions and conversation as we work through what we believe and who we are as a church. This time is meant to be relational and informative.

So if you’ve come to Midtown just once or have been attending for a while, but are wondering about what it means to be part of our church community, we’d love to see you at Discover Midtown. Please sign up here if you would like to join the Discover Midtown Class.
