Corey became a Christian in college, at Murray State Univ. where he graduated, then moved to St. Louis and completed a master's degree at Covenant Theological Seminary (M.Div.). Before moving to Indianapolis, he founded two campus ministries with Campus Outreach at Arkansas State Univ. and Indiana State Univ. His vision was to reach unbelievers with the gospel, establish young believers in their faith, equip them through discipleship, and mobilize them for the sake of the world. His vision remains the same today: that people would grow to love Jesus more than all other loves, learn to make disciples for all of life, and live compelling lives to be a blessing for their neighbors and the world. In 2025, Corey completed a doctorate (D.Min.) in cultural apologetics. Corey and his wife, Janet, have been married since 2004 and have 3 boys.

Rick joined the pastoral staff at Midtown Church in August 2020 after spending seven years as a campus minister with Coalition for Christian Outreach at Purdue University and a local church pastor in West Lafayette, IN. Rick is passionate about developing church cultures that form holistic disciples of Christ. His vision is to equip the church to grow up into mature Christian faith and Christlikeness. By building strong friendships among church members, faithful teaching in church classrooms, and hopeful hospitality in our neighborhoods, Rick believes the good news of the Gospel can strengthen us to love God, live all of life for him, and love our neighbors in Broad Ripple and beyond.
